Souvenir that can be purchased from Fogo Island gift shop.

Fogo Island is a very small, remote island off the coast of Newfoundland know mostly for their fishing. Unfortunately, the island community fished their waters almost into extinction, causing the main source of jobs and economy to disappear almost over night. Now, the island using other methods to bring the economy back to life on this island. The Fogo Island Inn is now the main attraction of the island. The island has become a major tourist attraction. Visitors come to stay at the Inn, enjoy local cuisine, take in the beautiful environment and culture, and to learn about the history of the place.

This project would be something that visitors could purchase from the island souvenir shop, thus bringing money into the community and providing jobs to some of the islanders. This box includes sheet music, lyrics, and an mp3 file of many different classic Sea Shanties that would have been sung by fisherman years ago when the fishing business was flourishing.
